Very nice 65! Love the Silver C2s. Very original looking although I'm guessing that is a repaint at some point...just looks too good to be original paint. My 64 coupe from the mid 70s... now you know why I'm partial to Silver C2s...

Well, not sure exactly what you are asking.... Sounds like you are doing what you can.

The tensioner is one more thing that can make those noises. I think the lower crank pulley (Harmonic Balancer) can do the same thing.

Yes....... either could be the culprit. Why not open the hood and rev the engine to see if you can see where it's coming from?

Haven't actually seen one specifically for a C8, but I know there are add-ons to do just this function for other vehicles, so I can't imagine that there's not one for the C8.

Welcome to CAC! :w As to the CD changer, that was a common issue with those changers in C5s. When I had my C5, I swapped the changer to a MP3 player.
