On my 77, the emblem paint was faded. I took a good photo from a vendor's catalog to an auto parts store and matched duplicolor touchup paint as closely as possible. Looked real good.

Same as 6 Shooter. Haven't found anything better yet.

Somehow, the black dye on my Dockers black belt rubbed onto my 04's light gray leather seats. I have tried different leather cleaners and conditioners. No success in removing the black dye. Any suggestions? Thanks, Spiral Gray

Central La., just below Alexandria. The love bugs are out in force over here.

I'm in love-bug country also. I use a quick detailler such as Mequirer's or Turtle Wax after I wash the bugs off. Applying the quick wax makes the bugs come off a lot easier.

On a trip from central La. to Hot Springs, Arkansas and back, averaged 28.7 mpg. Much better than my GMC truck.

My 2004's hatch does the same.

I drove a numbers matching 1977 L48, built in Sept. 1976 which had a blue engine. It is possible that the orange you are seeing is primer. 04 Spiral Gray

I liked Corvette Central when I had my 1977. Now Mid America and Eklers for my 2004.

My 04 gets better mileage than my GMC truck or my wife's Infiniti I-30. I drive it as often as possible. Here in central La., premium is $2.40.
