Question: Removal of Fog/Directional Outside Lense

Tom's right. The lenses have tabs that fit into the bumper cover, which has slots in it that the tabs fit into. If you decide to do this be careful when removing the cover as there will most likely be several shims at each of the attachment points. These are to align the bumper cover with the...

    Want trim piece for 1988

I'll check tonight. I've got a '90 that's seen better days. I'll have to see what kind of shape the piece is in. The trim pieces should be the same. :w :pat

    Question: CONVERTIBLE TOPS

The model center here lists the soft top colors as Black, White and Saddle which is basically a tan color. So they are out there, just don't know how many. :w :pat

    parking brake

Due to the low seat position, the parking brake is designed to fall back forward after being engaged. Its done this way to ease getting out of the car, imagine trying to hike your leg up over the handle after setting the brake to get out. If you pull the handle all the way up, press the...

    Speedo reading ????

Once again, Listen to the Junk!!! The newer ECM's (the 411's) store the mileage and can be retreived from the ECM with the proper software. This is also the way it is on my Silverado SS (different ECM though.) I know the C4's did not store the mileage, actually you are lucky if all the...

    Help! C4 SIDEPIPES

I inquired about these Oct of '04, called the company and was told there was a problem with the foundry that makes the main "y" for the side pipes. I was told they did not know when they would be back in production. The guy I talked to took my number and said they would give me a call back...

    Question: Inside bolts on SuperRam?

Nothing to it really. We've talked before, and I know you are a stand up guy. Plus the part is just sitting there in whats left of the car. I wasn't gonna do anything with it, and you could have used it, too bad it wasn't in good shape. :w :pat (USA & USN)

    Question: Inside bolts on SuperRam?

Hey Mike, Sorry but my WW cover isn't in very good condition. The top edge nearest the windshield is slightly melted, right where the connector is. Sorry I couldn't help man :w :pat

Retorque aluminum cylinder heads on TPI?

Most likely its a small leak from the rear of the intake manifold. The L98 is notorious for this. The best fix is to take the complete intake manifold off, along the back edge of the block (horizontally) where the flat of the intake valley is, is the area you need to concentrate on. Take a...

    Question: Inside bolts on SuperRam?

I'll have to check the condition first. When the '90 burned it started in the rear, the firewall did its job backwards... (kept the fire OUT of the engine compartment) It was still hot enough that it melted and broke the front windshield, have to check that the cover didn't get damaged. If it...

    Question: Inside bolts on SuperRam?

    Question: Inside bolts on SuperRam?

Let me check on the old '90 ... Pretty sure the WW motor is still in good shape. Maybe even the cover. You think the parts are the same between '84 and '90? :w :pat G

    Long Tube Headers

Well technically you don't have to re-program your PCM, it will run and run fine it will just be rich. To take full advantage of the headers it is definately worth it to re-program. I think JEFFNLSA got one of those re-programed PCM's from pcm4less done for his. He seems happy with his...

    Long Tube Headers

Don't be surprised if you don't see ANY gain, and most likely a loss. I did until I re-tuned the PCM. Mine stock dynoed at 308 rwhp, after putting the headers on I re-dynoed at 298 rwhp. The car was really rich, on second set of pulls the A/F ratio was around 10:1. I did some data logging...
