YOu may want to give Sound Repair in Fl. a call. They are experts in repairing Bose systems. Phone is 888-615-9700. I have no intrest in them but they did a fine job on repairing my 91 Bose system. They upgrade the system using modern parts. They may be able to tell you what to do on your system.

120000 on my 91 Convertible and still going strong. Water pump and Alt. new and some work on the injectors, New brakes at 100000 and thats it. Car is in great shape interior and exterior wise. Drive it....

When I said small motorcycle trailer, I meant the ones that a motorcycle tows, not the trailer to tow a motorcycle. I have pulled one of these with my other car, a 1951 MGTD and it is very lite, loaded it may 500 lbs with a tongue weight of about 20-40 lbs. The vette will handle that with ease.

hitch I think that you can get one with a 1 1/4 tube hitch from U Haul. I found them there if I remember.

Hitch They make a hitch for the Vette, but you have to be careful towing something. 1000 lbs might be a bit much. I am planning on installing one and pulling one of those small motorcycle trailers on my 91 convert. I have seen them on other vettes but none towing anything large.

Harbor Freight has them for about 7 bucks. I have used them for years and not had one fail yet.

You have to remember that the final price at BJ contains the sellers fee and 10percent buyers premium.

I own two sports cars, a 1951 MGTD and a 1991 corvette. I drive them both as often as I can. The 91 has 120000 miles and runs like a top and gets 25 MPG. The 51 gets about 25MPG. both cars were meant to be driven. and old MG saying "grease em, oil em, drive em."
