I believe this is different in the 2000 and later models. If [my] memory serves, I think that inserting the key first, then closing the door will trigger the memory function to kick in when the door latches shut. Next time I get a chance to check, I'll find out for sure and post back. L8r, Fred

For the 2000 and newer models, you have to have locked the car and then unlocked it with the key fob for the memory functions to kick in when you put the key in the ignition. If you have not locked and unlocked, you can always simply press the memory button for the selection you wish to...

I use Meguiar's myself, and think their stuff does a pretty darned good job. I hear everyone rave about Zaino, but it seems to be an awful lot of steps. Anyway, I think mine looks pretty awesome after a good cleaning and application of Meguiar's Gold Class wax. L8r, Fred
