    Another 700R4 bites the dust

the place that rebuilt the trans is outta business, plus i've had two motors in the car, both past 400 hp so the governer is no big deal.

    Superram on 85 vette?

yes you will see a gain. you will move your peak hp to a higher rpm and have a minimal effect on low end torque. only thing i dont like is it is a royal pain in the ass to install. i'de make sure my injectors and everything under that plenum that requires removing is in perfect shape.

    Another 700R4 bites the dust

    Another 700R4 bites the dust

Was driving to my office, minding my own business and the car wont shift out of 1st or 2nd at times. Sometimes it will, sometimes it wont. Turned around and put the car back in the garage. So I take it the 700R4 is toast, again. Im totally ****ed. Now im looking at 3 options: 1. Get...

I can't decide which way the car looks best!

if I ever got or owned a convertible C4 i'de leave the hard top on all the time. Kind of gives it a different look...something like a fixed roof coupe c4 style!

Took some pics of the vette prior to sell

thanks for the offers but my digital camera will work fine. It does not take the best pictures in a room that is not well lit. Once I get it out of my dark garage i'll be ok with pictures. BTW, I have a mail order chip from superchips and i'de honestly like some quality time on the dyno.

    Stock Exhaust Manifolds

I have a 1 3/4" header test in a issue of Corvette Fever or Vette and the gain was like 12 hp or so. Most of the hp gain was across the board with the TPI narrow rpm range. A complete exhaust upgrade on a stock TPI car will gain about 20 to 25 rwhp. Just my opinion of course. The TPI cars dont...
