Wife backed into my 89

Please help...my wife gave me an early Xmas present. She backed into my Black 89 Vette and chipped a half dollar size piece of paint on the nose. What can I do to keep the rest of the paint from peeling off around it?

Looks like you should take that into a shop and see what they say about it. That might be too large for you to touch it up.

That's probably what I'll end up doing. Maybe they'll fix it for free if they are in the holiday spirit. Besides that they just re-painted it 8 months ago. During the interim I am going to try sealing around the edges with some "touch up" paint.

Actually Jon, It was #2 and #3!! otfl junk!! I had My corvette when they came, I have it when there Gone!!

Don't listen to these malcontents, dumping the wife may cost way more than repairing the vette. I would for some upgrades while the wife still feels guilty, maybe you can get a cam swap and some porting added to the bodywork estimate! Did your old paint shop add flex agent to the paint? Did the paint crack in other areas?
