thanks agian vetteoz! I see you have a 700r Transmission, I do too recently rebuilt due to improper shift kit installed on the previous owner( he didnt drill holes for the valve flexplate thingy, where the balls shift) thats incredible the amount of trq yours can handle!

Is a Lt4 similar to a 383? It seems anywhere I go people refer to there LT4 to a 383.

So yea I've been wondering about swapping my L98 to a LS7, I'm sure its possible, but what are the risks in this project? Is it worth it? And will I have to do a transmission swap as well?( I currently have a 700R4) This is nothing serious just throwing out there. Thanks guys

hmm makes sense, it only seems to smoke when I pull in or out of the driveway or when its moving its not really alot just enough to see it

yea sorry oil filter lol, yea I have a long tube headers and whatever it is, is leakin on the headers and causing it to smoke. my 02 bung is under there and those are the only wires that are around it. I looked more closely and it looks like everywhere around my distributer theres black "sut"...

What I'm trying to say is that I feel the stock (Plastic Black Long Tube runner) is a better part due to it "reaches" to the bumper, oppose to the Mini Ram that only get what? 5inches from the throttle body? I was just saying, if the mini ram is on the throttle body everything surrounding it is...

My concern is, if I get it, I feel that no air is making its way into the throttle body, for example the stock long black intake tube runner that ran into the throttle body seems great, for the fact it guides the air into the manifold. with this mini ram its right there-I'm not saying anything...

I see, now is there an easier way other than me to take the engine out to install the cams? possibly take of the intake manifold and dig from there?

Are LT4 cams worth it? or am i better off keepin the stock ones?
