ROFL. It's not like I called you an airhead.:D All your posts are extremely eloquent and thought provoking to say the least. :cool To top that off I did not know about the information you provided. And DK if you have not already read the section on Cruise Fest I highly recommend it. I'm...

Question: Run flat or just flat tires?

Been on non-run flats for 2 years. Love the ride, noise and handling change. The only thing I did was add a plug kit and a small portable air compressor in the back if needed. If I remember correctly the C5 Z06 came with non-run flats and a repair kit in the back.

    2002 Flat Black Coupe

I like the idea but to much of one thing kills it for me. It needs more accent than back up lights, a chrome filler plate and red sways. ...doh almost missed the chrome lugs

    Battery voltage

I've read that Optima's are good batteries for daily drivers but dont do well if they sit for any length of time (5+ days). Once they drain down to far they have trouble holding a charge. Take this info with a grain of salt. I just replaced my battery a few weeks ago and spent about a week...

    Whistling noise

I had this issue when I change my intake to the newer version (01'+) I forgot to hook up a small vacuum line on the back of the intake. The whistle was very apparent after I started it up.

    Question: Power Locks

Yup, my guess is you have a bad relay in the door module. Check here. My dad has this problem on his 03. The only thing he ran into is the link to the parts web site is www.digikey.com NOT www.digiking.com. If you know how to run a soldering iron this fix should only cost you a few bucks and...

    Slammed C5's

The best place to measure ride hight is from the ground to where the car is jacked up from. Measuring to the top of the wheel well will give you the 'body' height and not the actual ride height.
