Been on non-run flats for 2 years. Love the ride, noise and handling change. The only thing I did was add a plug kit and a small portable air compressor in the back if needed.
If I remember correctly the C5 Z06 came with non-run flats and a repair kit in the back.

I had this issue when I change my intake to the newer version (01'+) I forgot to hook up a small vacuum line on the back of the intake. The whistle was very apparent after I started it up.

Yup, my guess is you have a bad relay in the door module. Check here. My dad has this problem on his 03. The only thing he ran into is the link to the parts web site is www.digikey.com NOT www.digiking.com. If you know how to run a soldering iron this fix should only cost you a few bucks and...

The best place to measure ride hight is from the ground to where the car is jacked up from. Measuring to the top of the wheel well will give you the 'body' height and not the actual ride height.
