Don't sell your C5 Z short--the C6 is faster, but not nearly twice as much fun--I'm selling my 2002 Z, but if someone really wanted to buy my 2006 Z I would probably say OK, and just keep the 2002--it's that good. Now if you compare with coupes, any Z is better than any generation of stock...

My wife drives a C6 Coupe and LOVES it (not as much as she loves me, but close, maybe). Her car has very little interest to me--too slow. I drive a C6 Z06, and also love it, but still consider selling it (and keeping my C5 Z06) because the C6 isn't that much more fun to drive than the C5...

My 2006 Z has the map lights (under the mirror) on all the time--the buttons don't work. The car automatically turns all lights off 20 minutes after shutting the engine off, but that's the ONLY way I found to get these lights off--anybody have this problem or any ideas? Gersh

I always leave my car parked in 1st gear, not reverse. So I checked the results of purposely pushing the on/off button to the lower right (where it says accessory) and it only activates accessories if going from off, not when the engine was already on. Gersh
