patrick, i agree. i was just commenting on getting "caught" in a hail storm if you can't find cover.

ask any professional detailer about the clearcoat on a C5 and he/she will tell you that it is a VERY, VERY hard finish to deal with. i would think that this would make a BIG difference when we have a hail vs. C5 contest!!! that's good news!!!!

anyone successfully spray touch-up the rim/lip of mag wheels without painting the whole wheel. do they have clearcoat on them? thanks.

i use good old spray silicone. spray it on, after vehicle evaporates (or before)...wipe to "even" out. makes black plastic look new...no residue left. j. jam

thumbs up. we really take our cars for granted. these guys could drive european iron but they choose to drive a corvette AND they really take special care to do beautiful and expensive modifications to boot!!!!! not for me but these cars look REALLY GOOD and NASTY! these are not garage queens!!!!
