Just remember Dude, if you feel the air coupler and the foil made a difference than that's great. And also keep in mind that when you talk Corvette's to some folks your talking Penus's and some need to have the fastest. Just my .02. C-ya
If the mechanic has worked on the Vette set up before and pre-loads the bearings correctly you should be o-kay and yes, I would do both sides.:upthumbs
Yeah, Dis-connect is the only way to go. I'd rather replace a battery than have a fire because of a chewy mouse or other electrical issue, no battery tender for me.

A graphic reason that when I lay-up for the winter it's disconnect not trickle or battery tender. It's much easier to deal with a dead battery than a burned down house with a car in it. Just my .02
