Yup! Seen it a couple of time however, I don't recall any shots of the motor. Actually we got side tracked here with the Top Gun car.
What I'm wonder is what was #51's build status? Meaning was it all B2K minus cats that ran 191MPH or was there more work done. The reason I ask, it is stated in...
So, was it a "Callaway" or a GM Twin Turbo product that was turned over to Callaway to figure out how the B2K turbo's and intercoolers would ultimately be laid out? What year was it? I know that the turbos were neither IHI or Rotomasters. I think they were Rayjay.
Also, any idea on the...
I don't think I need to ask if anyone remembers this event however, there were two Callaway Twin Turbo Corvettes that attended the event. There was a white development car and the soon to be "Sledghammer". It was my understanding that the white car ran an avg 222MPH while the car #51 went...
I use to live in Colorado Springs just outside Garden of the Gods. My boys and I would take the Banshee and Blaster and 4Wheel in Pueblo just off I25.
I miss the snow and the mountains that Colorado offers. We use to take the back roads thru the mountains behind the Broadmore Hotel and head to...
No real upgrades to speak of, just getting the car in a better state. I'm getting closer to where I would like the car to be.
As for the BIG wonderbar. I can't really comment on it yet. I haven't been able to do a shake down and I still need to re-tune it in. I'm nervous about the A/F ratio...
The Lingenfelter ZR1 and the Challenge Series cars are both good choices.
How many Twin Turbo Lingenfelter ZR1's were made?
I have a serious soft spot for the C4 body style. I think the ultimate is the 1990 ZR1, which is what I was looking for when I picked up my '92 SNAT. Maint. on a ZR1...
then what would most likely occupy your garage space?
For me it would be an '89 930 Porsche. That may happen anyway by the end of 2007 :) Another car on my list to own.

A conversation with Reeves on the C16. This was the first pub that I saw with the new C16 in it. A nice article on all of Reeves' past Corvette creations:
B2K
Sledgehammer
Competition LM
C7
C12R
new Supercharged '07 from Carlisle
Z06.R
... and then the C16
Get some of those disk brake dust covers from Summit and put a Callaway or Brembo logo on it :) That way it will LOOK like you have an upgraded brake system.

I too agree with 632C2 and Shopview. Although very nice numbers with the C16 there's nothing like a C4 AeroBody B2K. I drive mine all the time and people seem to think it's the new Corvette.
Job well done Paul D. :)
Pete I believe it was you that spearheaded the re-birth of the BIG Wonderbar so a BIG THANK YOU from me and 88-57.
No big deal putting the wonderbar in, just time consuming. I don't have a lot to post about the differences yet until I can dyno it and dial the car in again. Before I do that I...
