I got an email from them, it had already shipped on Monday (it is coming from the state of Washington). I only uploaded it this last Sunday. I will have it this weekend. I will take some photos of it and then provide a narrative of the quality etc.....stay tuned...
Billet Specialties, SLC85 (and yes, when they are clean and polished up they have the best shine I have ever seen....all billet.....

just go to the site, they download a program into your computer and it is really quite easy. The most difficult thing to do is get yourself organized to begin with. Get your photos into seperate file folders and then name them in some type of sequence you will recognize. As I used each folder...
you do! it just takes time and money and a lot of patience and the people on the forum!
I am not trying to make any money, actually I did this to get the photos organized in one book. Rather than a photo album, I thought that this might be a good way to do it. Also, take the car to a car show...
I put together a book over the past couple of weeks that is 160 pages long with over 339 photos. It documents the build of the car from the beginning to the present.
Take a look at the first 15 pages to give you an idea of how it looks....whne I get it I will post some photos of the book...
i wish you lived closer too, I am sure that you would of great assistance. When Jeff and I are working on the car a lot of times we have to think through our next step and the step after that. Sometimes we don't know what the next step is or we get really frustrated with the step we are on...
as I made that first cut, I felt all kinds of guilt...but the more I went with the cuts the more I just kept thinking how much fun this build was going to be and how awesome it would be when I was done......so....I am on my way.
Shimming a C2 on a SRIII frame is no picnic......but in the end...
Finally got enough of the body cut out (ouch, yes it was not easy to make the first cut) and fit to the frame.
Prothane body mount cushions
my friend's son with his much smaller hands sure fit in places our hands didn't
We finally got the body down on the mounts. We were...
I found a site where I can put together a book. I really have all kinds of options in terms of putting the book together, but primarily it seems the best way to do it is to get 3 to 6 photos (high resolution like 2 to 5MB per photo) of a car and a parargraph write up.
Currently I am putting...
I have another 63SWC that is original that needs a paint job and a couple of interior pieces replaced, other than that it is in great shape. I like hot rods, or in this case resto rods.....
I wanted to have a '63SWC restomod and I looked at many cars. Even drove to Kentucky to actually pick one up based on the phone conversation only to get down there and find that the bird cage looked like this....
even though I specifically asked about the bird cage and the guy had been selling...
I was burned out on the last one, but after Autorama and the rest of the summers events I decided to act on my thoughts of another project. There were compromises I made on the '60 not knowing how far I was going to take it. So I thought if I was ever to do another that I would take more time...
yup, RED, same red as the '60, '01 and '03....TORCH RED!
Interior will probably be like the '60 and the '03, MOD RED (black and red combo)
Thanks for the comments on the photos, that is my other hobby.
too funny Tom, what I like and make time for is the challenge. I am an engineer and engineers love to solve problems. Certainly there is the challenge of restoring a car and then there is the challenge of creating something that is your own with your own ideas and twists. sometimes those...
I found a 63SWC and have begun the process of transforming the car. Body needs some work in the front fender area, but other than that it is good except for the areas I need to cut on in order to make everything fit.
Here are some photos....
