Norty,
Thanks... good info in there. That's the kind of particulars I'm hunting for! I'm gathering as much info as I can before I start to look. This way I can have a narrow field.
So, for those of you who don't know or remember me... I parted with my mildly modded '74 bigblock last year. It was the worst day of my life. I did not think that I would be in the market for another Corvette for some time.
Lucky me :D
I am looking at a C6 ZO6 - Used.
What should I be...
Because the hassle of helping people over the border with the car and waiting for them to arrange shipping with a firm that will clear customs on their behalf takes too much time. I should know... since the Vette took almost up to the 30 days maximum to leave my garage.
I said goodbye to her Saturday afternoon. :puke
Next on the block is my 2006 BMW 330i.

Well looks like this may happen after all... I did get the deposit yesterday and promptly banked it. It was a certified bank check from a reputable (2nd largest) bank.
Apparently he is working on a shipper and details for the border x-ing.
Supposidly I should have the deposit today, but he is now having second thoughts since I told him the car might not make the drive all the way up to Ontario and better to ship it. - Prob cheaper too. At 10mpg he's gonna be filling up every 150 miles!
My auction clearly indicated PROJECT CAR...
Thanks gents! We think she is adorable too...
We have one problem....
She already knows it!!! The little tot is not yet 10mos old and is already working it to her advantage. Unreal. We are blessed!
Congrats to you too!
It is the most amazing! Your whole life it has mostly been about you... seeing as you are you and you don't have a dependant until you have a kid (pets don't count). Even getting married was not the same.
Now all decisions are based on forward thinking "what's best for...
I used the Sawzall method also..... worked like a charm. Be prepared for it to take some time. There is a hardened steel sheath you have to cut through, plus the bolt.
