Advice on removing Door Panel (lock Knob)

When things get this stressful, don't start ripping off the parts, just step back and breath slowly. You will have a much easier time in removing the door lock knob by fabbing your own tool. Using a very stiff piece of thin wire, use a pair of long nose pliers to make a small hook on one end...

How's this for a lousy repop?

You got that right About a year or so ago, I ordered half a dozen of these inserts from " Paragon " and was equally disappointed. Although the finish was very close to factory, all of them came from the manufacturer with the holes already drilled for the emblem. The only problem was that...

Everything that has to do with the car has already been powder coated, and then cleared. That way nothing will fall, chip, or get knocked off. :D Stepinwolf

    mechanical fuel pump

David, I can't speak for others, but personally as far as I'm concerned, I will stick to the metal canister type. Weather or not it's original for the car, is second to the much larger security factor that the metal filter will afford me. Had the plastic, and glass filters been acceptable...

    mechanical fuel pump

John, We can't stop them from making those types of crappy filters, but we can stop purchasing them. A few years ago I saw what these type of plastic filters do when a melt down occurs, and it's not pretty. :ohnoes Stepinwolf

    what transmission with a 502ci?

VNV, Bad news for the 620 rated horsepower. Last week I was surfing the web, and read where one of the Chevy mags, took a stock 572/620 and ran the héll of of it on two ( 2 ) different engine dyno's within a couple of days. Guess what, in both cases the HP and TQ were more then 10% over the...

Me No Sweat No More.. Bought Me A New A/C System ..This is the Best one I Have Seen.

Chuck, Not yet, however I did speak to both of them ( Classic + Hot Rod Air ) and they both confirmed that material had been sent to me. I must confess that I am not surprised, since the regular snail mail containing advertising, or POP material, usually takes anywhere from two to four weeks...

What do you put over the fenders when working?

Larry, I NEVER work over the fenders, or anywhere around the car with " jeans ", because sooner or later the shÎt is goint to hit the proverbial fan, and those bright metal buttons are sure to come in contact with your beautiful paint. My favorite attire for working over the fenders, or...

I can't understand why every time something like this shows up, every one seems to forget the " Golden Rule " IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, YOU CAN BET IT'S NOT. At only 19K, I could part it out for more money. Stepinwolf
