    Koni Adjustables

Another Idea! Hey, you may want to try "Hal" 12-way externally adjustable (no need to remove shock) shocks from QA1. http://www.halshocks.com/shocks/vettesuspension.html Summit sells these, as does Jegs, both for around $139.95 each. Call them on the phone for the correct part# for you Vette...

Vara-Ram Induction Vettepilot: There was no article in the mag., just an advertisment See there website at http://www.vararam.com/ for more info and pictures. The idea looks good to me, If I had a C5, I would consider this system. See Ya,

    Detailing Wheel wells

I agree with all above, clean well with simple green or equivalent. But, I use "Lemon Pledge" furniture polish in an aerosol can instead of armor-all. Spray it on a rag and wipe it on. Stays slick longer than Armor all to keep dirt from sticking.

    1980 Brakes & Rear

All I can add is: 1) when your done, post here on how it went so the rest of us can learn by any mistakes you may or may not make.:TALK 2) I'd stay away from the "silicone" brake fluid if it was my car. Many people do like it, but many more do not, including G.M. ! 3) :drink :hb :drink :hb...

    1996 z51 option?

Big Brakes Gil, Starting with the 1995 model,(95 and 96 anyway) ALL Vettes came standard with the "big brakes" J55 option from earlier models Z07 and ZR1 package, thats right, you have the same brakes as a ZR1. Only differnce with the Grand Sports was a fancy painted caliper with the...

    Which Exhaust?? Corsa\Borla

Corsa! Check this thread: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=7611 Your not going to gain any noticable horsepower with ANY exhaust system alone. Must group with other mods to notice any gains (air intake, thermostat, ect.,) Buy an exhaust based on your sound...

    1996 z51 option?

Ken, what are you thinking??? In 1996, Chevrolet brought back the "Z51" package. (name) You could only get it with coupes. Springs were up-graded as well. But, were still very soft compared to previous years performance packages. Same spring rates as a 1995 stock "FE 1" package (base susp.)...

    Bloomington Gold

Just another Idea! I'm thinking of entering the Chicago ChevyVetteFest, "Gold Spinner" award competition. Similar to Bloomington Gold. Four reasons: 1)Inside at McCormick Center on Chicago's lakefront (warm and dry) 2)happens twice per year, March and November 3)Much less expensive at $60...

    Bloomington Gold

Hey there 82-Guy, I have personaly done the "Survivor" portion, and passed, That is pretty basic. Be prepared for the road trip part of the judging, driving about 20 miles in whatever the weather is at the time ( I did in 2000 and it was raining). The Survivor judges the car in sections as a...

    Brakes

My guess! I'll bet your RIGHT front caliper is leaking just enough fluid to wet the pads, and this causes your car to pull left when braking. You may be into spending some $$ on rebuilt calipers and a brake job. You should have it checked soon because it can be real tricky (dangerous) on wet...

    Racing Brake Fluid

Note: DOT 4 and DOT 3 brake fluids CAN be mixed together. But, DO NOT MIX DOT 5, "silicone" WITH ANYTHING ELSE! Brakes are the most important part of any car on the road or track!

    Racing Brake Fluid

Brake Fluid options The only times I have seen brake fluid boil, was when it was real dirty and old. Saturated with moisture, turns a darker color. This happens to some autocross cars that have two drivers, so the car doesn't get much rest between sessions. I use and recommend DOT 4 fluid...

Performer RPM package in action !!!

Nice Pantera! Boy, I'm glad I've got a cable modem. You may be driving from the left side of the car, (which is the CORRECT side), But, your still driving on the wrong side of the road. I'm not to familar with MPEG video's, but the quality is still pretty good. Too bad they can't be longer...

    Rear Differental Lubricant

Thank you Mr. Hib Halverson, I went with the Redline "Shockproof" heavyweight oil in the rear end. Had a local speed shop order me some, they matched the "online price" for me. Right on the blue stuff as being lightweight, the heavyweight is red / pink in color. Came highly recommended for...
