    MPG

When I drive on the freeway on flat terrain, the best I have seen is 26-27 on cruise control at 75 mph on long trips. I have an A4 but what I think makes the difference is the 3.15 diff. However, when I check on my Normal day –to- day driving, I always see 18 mph on the DIC even if my daily...

Check Active handling, ABS, and Traction Control Messages

Is there any codes? These messages are the first thing you will see if any of the grounds or if any of the sensors, like wheel sensors or steering wheel position sensors is going bad. It could be as complex as the EBTCM module or as simple as a bad wire. I had that problem and it took me only...

    AIR System Bank 1

You would need a scanner to enable the air pump and check few things to make a full diagnostic. However, due to corrosion and carbon built up the valve is the culprit most of the time. Check for any hoses and pipes for being connected, clamps secure on pipe and hoses, no kinks, hole or pinches...

    weird electrical thing going on

These codes are not related to hard to start. It should not crank for more than 3 seconds before it starts. I would start by checking fuel pressure. You should have 55-61 psi as soon you put the key to on. That could be a fuel pump going bad, therefore taking some more time to build up...

Engine Operating Temperature for a C-5; was is normal?

From my 97 service manual Fans have 2 speeds. Low and high speed. The PCM command low speed fans ON at 226 and OFF at 217 and high speed fans ON at 235 and OFF at 219. This is what you should see sitting the traffic. If you have AC on, fans starts. The thermostat set the temps when you...
