I installed the DeWitt today. Sure is a pretty radiator. Drops right in with new pads. Coolant level sensor was a ***** to get in.
Temps seem better. Will know more after road test.
Find the ALDL under the dash by your right knee. You will see a two row connector. The terminal on the second row, far left is terminal G.. Apply 12V to it and the fuel pump relay is bypassed and the pump should run if it is OK.
With the heat off, the rod is extended (no vac). When you apply heat, vac is applied and the arm goes to about 12 O'clock. Mine doesn't work. There is a module under the dash on the drivers side that has all of the vacuum solenoids. The line is intact but the solenoid seems to be bad. On...
I have noticed that the Door Ajar light does not come on when the door is opened. The courtesy lights come on and I have tested the bulb on the telltale panel. I looked through the manual and I can't solve it. Any ideas.
Like I said, bottom of plenum, right rear. Or for you Navy types, starboard, aft.
You must remove the plenum. You can loosen the runners and leave them attached.
230 coolant temp is pretty high. When you re-instlalled the current radiator, diCustom Promd you clean the A/C condensor coils?
Yes
Anything lodged in there will restrict the flow of air to the radiator and that can cause high coolant temps. Is the lower air dam in place and in good shape...
Thanks for the offer, but that would just further tax my radiator. I bit the bullet and ordered a Dewitt Direct replacement.
Now, has anyone installed an aftermarket oil to air cooler on an early C4.
