Sounds kinda like a caliper hanging slightly. Working at a car dealer for as long as I have with "lot rot" aka rust build up on the rotors we hear a lot of "friction" at slow speeds...:D Good luck TWA

Is the spring on the idle screw on the carb tight...meaning.... with the right frequency vibration the screw actually turns while you have the pedal pressed . If the spring on the screw is weak it potentially could turn in at the right frequency..

go to your Sears store get a bolt extractor...drill the center of the stud out insert the bolt extractor and extract it...simple as that......if you can assemble a motor...you can do that.....:upthumbs
