Yes the head units are the same as far as fit...but the 94-96 heads have white lettering against a black face plate. Your current 93 deck is a different color face plate (dk. grey??) and I believe it has orange lettering...other than that, they are the same fit. Don't know about the player...

Bossvette... You may want to check out your idea with a Chevy dealer service tech as the late model C5's computer will not recognize many aftermarket units with the OEM Bose speakers...I am not sure about the earlier C5's...you may find that the 'new' radio will not work with out replacing...
