These LT4's are dam near bullet proof!! Lots of them still running around with over 100,000 on the clock! Zf trannies are just as good...problem free for the most part! Much easier to get service and/or do service on these LT4's yourself compared to the ZR1's. Good luck in your search!

Not to add insult to injury here, but the main reason I stay away from the K&N and any other "oil" treated air filter is because you can and will most likely do damage to the MAP....that oil will "evaporate" into the air flow and in time it will, and has, clog/gum it up! Now what do you do...

Lanny, Stinger!! here... I have investigated your question prior to your asking it...If you are concerned about the rear tire "sticking" out a bit you may want to get a set of "Grand Sport" rear fender well moldings and have them painted to match...thats what I am doing to cover the 315's...
