If I remember correctly (and if I dont, my wife will remind me), once she got the socket over the plug, I was able to break it loose with an open end wrench, the she was able to get it out with her hands....after listening to the whole righty tighty, lefty loosen theory!

    Help! I'm stuck.

Had the same problem with 2 and 4 on my '86. Finally got my wife, with her dainty hands and fingers to get them started, then used an open end wrench on the spark plug socket. Your right, six plugs were a snap, 2 and 4 involved alot of swearing, drinking and walking away! My wife heard me and...

    AC Delco plugs

The kid at the Auto Zone said the AC Delco plug 41-629 were the plug for my engine...5.7 cast iron.....they look alot longer in the threaded area than the plugs that were in there. Does this sound like the right plug to anyone? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link, Vette, but it keeps comming up invalid. I see Ecklers has the tube for $94, Ebay has a used one for $49. Probably go with new, I'm sure the used ones are all brittle. Thanks for the input!

    What is this?

Thanks Vette, the only code I had been getting was 34, MAF. Started cleaning and tying up loose ends when I noticed the split and loose wire. Havent started it since then. Is the EGR tube readily available anywhere? Thanks

    Oil Pressure

Hi all, new here. Just picked up an '86 coupe that needs minor work, but is still driveable. One of the questions I have is on the oil pressure. Oil pressure guage reads 42 to 52 most of the time, but when accellerating it sounds like there is no oil getting to the rockers. The car is also...
