    High RPM's on start up

I'm looking at some of my scans and areas that the TPS voltage is .86 volts my RMP's are 1750 ish. This was cruising

    High RPM's on start up

It appears that the tps voltage is jumping at the same time interval of the high rpm spikes. The scale is different but they do occur in the same area. The .2 volt change in tps would definitely increase engine RPM's.

GM prepares to shut Indianapolis plant after workers reject concessions

I work in Elkhart, IN. For while, this area had the highest unemployment rate in the country due to the huge decline of RV manufacturing. The company I work for was hit hard by the decline. There were layoffs, but to keep the maximum amount of workers employed pay cuts were implemented. I...

It is US against them, a call to arms!

This would be the very reason I elected not to build my motor back stock when that time came. Granted it was premature, nevertheless the decision was an easy one. I don't go out and street race like a jackass, but it is comforting to ME to know I have more power under the pedal. Is it faster...

Whats the right engine for me???

The further you venture from a stock rebuild, the more time, effort, and money it will take to complete a reliable setup. Like has been mentioned, utilizing the existing wireing harness, and electronics is a great start. There are proven setups that will work well with what you have.

    Winter Projects!!

Well it's that time of year again and some of us will be putting our cars up for the winter. Some of us will continue driving them. :lou Either way, what kind of projects are lined up for the off driving season? I think I am going to tackle my inoperable antenna (probably bad mast). I'm also...

Question: Car dies temporarily going around corners

I think it may be worth noting that it is possible that gauge is off, and the fuel level may be lower than the gauge indicates, which would increase the likelihood of this issue being low fuel related.

Headlight problem Diagnosed, need second opinion!

Do you have a hand held vacuum pump? If you do, it is fairly straight forward to trouble shoot the system. It sounds like the control circuitry is working correctly, but the vacuum supply circuitry may be the culprit.

Headlight problem Diagnosed, need second opinion!

Check your hoses, and also make sure your connections are tight. My issue was that once I knew the actuators were good, the hoses didn't fit the fittings very well.

    High RPM's on start up

In closed loop, your O2 sensor should bounce back and forth from 0 to 1V, or there about. The fact that you have taken a snap shot with an 02 reading of .7 volts is coincidence. I definitely think you can fix your rich condition. If your setup for tuning, you can easily change the injector...

What causes the acrylic tops to crack?

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation.

    High RPM's on start up

Your TPS is pretty much right on. The values are the same for the different RPM's. Take a look at your IAC steps. The steps for the high RPM's are considerably higher than when normal RPM's. I'm going to keep looking at the data. This is a good starting point!!:thumb

    Bitter sweet!

You can find a heck of a deal on a low mileage LT4. Honestly that is the way I'm thinking now.

    High RPM's on start up

It looks like ALDL monitoring is only available with TunerPro RT.

    High RPM's on start up

Hmmm, unfamiliar with those used as scanning. I use Datamaster. I'm pretty sure vetteoz uses Tuner Pro.

    Question: Engine noise

Does the noise increase with RPM's? How is your oil pressure? Has there been any noticeable change in psi?

    How would you feel if....

Is there any mileage put on at the factory before it leaves to make sure it does in fact drive?
