I understand a person not wanting to buy a vehicle that has been hit. But what I can't figure is why should the value be diminished by 10k, just because it was hit. It's being repaired by a GM facility? To GM Standards? With GM parts? Are they a quality facility that's trying to do a quality...

I like all generations, but if I had to pinpoint one specific Corvette it would be the '73 because I did not like the combination of the chrome rear bumper and the polyeurathane front bumper. Second would be the '74 with the split in the rear bumper. Other than that, I like them all.

The technician at my Chevy dealer replaced mine last year and advised it was a real pain to get to, but he eventually got it done. Good luck! :thumb

I have a 2007 Z06 purchased new in October of '06. The car has now survived three winters in Michigan. Stored in the garage during winter. No battery tenders. Never a failed start. Original battery still in vehicle with 18,000 miles.

18,000 miles on my '07 Z06, with original pads still on the vehicle. Normal driving, but I do autocross it from time to time. Basically it depends on your driving style, as stated before. :thumb
