You should change dexcool every year and not mix the green unless it states it on the container. Prestone has a new compatible mixture. FYI do a google search on dexcool. Class action lawsuit is pending

Does anyone know how many degrees cooler the transmission will be by adding a trans cooler to a stock LT1 with a 180 stat. Temps before adding cooler and after.Would you also use the stock radiator cooler in conjunction with the added on cooler.95 and 96 does have a trans temp gauge

update-I put the kyb shocks in and they are great-the only problem is that they raised the height about 3/4 to 1 inch.Will the height settle down to the way it was after a few thousand miles?I do not want to lower the car.thanks :)

UPDATE: Replaced hub after GM started to manuf. the part and it looks like no more leak.

GM seals come with tiny drops of lubricant around the perimeter of the seal.I looked at that real careful.I'm in the process of trying to locate a new hub because if the grooves in the hub are to large it will leak no matter what you do to it.(this is what I was told) thanks for your input
