C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

Ok, how does "Techvette" sound since it was the first of the Hi-tech Corvettes?

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

True, it looks like Chevy has also made C5, C6 a trademark but not the C4. Check the back of the front cover of any Mid-America Catalog and you will see their disclaimer on their uses.

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

Nah, but it makes a entertaining message thread. When I tell people that I drive a Vette, they ask me what is her last name.... ;)

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

I like that, equal opportunity offender. I was thinking Star Wars too, like maybe Millennium Falcon. :L

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

That would be cool to get a bunch of cars to meet up at the Mountain Gate and head out from there. If anyone in Central MD is planning on going to Corvettes @ Carlisle and want to meet up in Thumont MD, PM me and we can see what we can do.

    C4 with fender flares?

Yes, I can see what you mean, I guess that's why the ZR1's have the whole rear flared. Does anyone know if the doors, rear quarter panels and bumper of the ZR1 can be mounted on a standard C4 with out modification?

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

Hi HD... Yes, I like the association with the F16 too. Yes, I can't wait for Carlisle. I got my new wheels and tires on the car and ready to mount the new badges....:D

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

I like the aeronautical reference; it goes well with the Falcon name too. For those who are gamers…. Falcon C.4

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

Nuthin, but we don't get to have a cool mascot like the C3 does. ;)

C3's called sharks, how about C4 called falcons?

Everyone calls C3's "Sharks" but there is no cool general term for the C4. During a nice spring drive I noticed a falcon sitting on a sign post and I said to myself... “Self, doesn't the sleek and pointed body of the C4 looks like the falcons?” “Gee, I replied to me, you got something...

I've seen tons of C3 with fender flares but does anyone have pictures of C4's with them?

    I Love these New Tires!!!

I'm not sure how old they were but the original owner put allot of mileage on the car before the second owner purchased it back in 1992, and then only drove it everyonce and a while, so I'll guess he added the Gators in 92.

    I Love these New Tires!!!

True. On the other hand my "old" tires had about 10 to 20k miles left on them. I wanted to keep them just in case I ever wanted to do the NCRS thingie. Compaired to the old gators, these new tires ROC!!!!

    I Love these New Tires!!!

Actually it wasn't to bad. The shop uses a special tire mounting machine designed especially for alloy wheels. They also installed the balancing weights inside the wheels and installed chrome valve stems for less than $100.

    I Love these New Tires!!!

Thanks! :) Others have said that they are great in the rain but hopefully I won’t have to find out; unless I get caught by surprise, I try not to drive in the rain. :ugh

    I Love these New Tires!!!

I bet it was one of your posts that pointed me to these great tires, thanks bigtime. I have to agree, they look like almost organic; like the footpads of a speeddemon. ;)

    I Love these New Tires!!!

I purchased them from Tire Rack for $829.08; they were delivered the very next day and would have been on the car except for the SpeedShop installing 2 of the tires on backwards. I try to support local stores but all of the ones I contacted in Frederick, MD said that they would have to special...
