HI mvarga, I have the same model ('98 torch red vert) as you and the same problem except I get an intermittent low tire pressure message on the right rear tire. I just hit "reset" when it happens, someday it will bother me enough to get it fixed or reset - but not until I get those new back tires!

The time finally came for me to turn on the heater in my '98 convertible. However, the driver's side seems to have little to NO air coming out when the switch is in the "floor" position, and the passenger's side has a little more but still not much, even when the fan is on the highest setting...

I saw a NTSB service bulletin for this very problem (while looking for something else as I have a vert) but unfortunately I couldn't read the whole bulletin. At least some dealership somewhere has been through it before - if that helps any...:(

Leadfoot, my TPMS must've heard us talking about it because I've gotten the warning message 3 times in the last 2 days - all times while driving around town. It's GOT to be either a loose connection or failing battery (hope hope hope).

Hey tightwad, Mr. Pinky did the fix suggested above and it worked like a charm. Try it before you let the dealer mess with it and charge you $300 each. edited to add: he didn't have to clip any wires so that may be an unnecessary step.

Hey, it was 70 degrees here yesterday! Yesterday afternoon that is -the mornings are already in the low 30s or upper 20s. BRRRRRR. At least it's sunny - I can still put the top down but it's hard to see around the sides of the parka hood. ;-)
