Hi guys, looking for opinions/advice with respect to using bronze internal fuel filters in a Holley carb. I've heard that they are much more restrictive than an in-line filter.

Phew! That was a close call.

Sorry, I assumed that you already had the mounting plate off. Btw I also assumed that you have the same chrome mirrors on your car that I do on mine. If you have the body-colored sport mirrors I'm probably not the right one to be offering advice.

Mine wobbled too. When I took the mirror and the mounting plate off it looks as though the threaded piece in the door is mounted proud of the surface of the door so that the mirror can't sit tight to it. So it's on the list of things to be fixed when it's time for paint.

No sign of snow in Toronto. It's my first winter with a vette in a number of years. Drove it in Christmas Eve and on New Years day. It's supposed to be 52 degrees and sunny here tomorrow and 48 on Saturday.
My snowblower needs fuel stabilizer more than the vette.
