Check out the inlinetube.com website. They can make any type of fuel line. If it isn't in their catalog just send the old one and they will copy it. If it is rubber with steel ends they can reproduce it and they do great work.
It is a scan tool that you plug into the aldl and it reads everything your motor is doing. There are a few posts that will tell you more if you search EZ scan 3000.
One of these days... finally cleared the citation for approaching a buck and a quarter in my old Stealth from my record. It takes 3 years here in Miichigan. I'm still a little gun shy thinking there will be an officer somewhere I cant see him.:ohnoes
I just purchased an EZ Scan 3000 last week and already I'm wondering how I got along without it. They work on all OBD 1 and can be upgraded to OBD11. It gives real time data and is easy to use. I too am an old school guy in a techie world. Found it on Ebay and only cost $80, brand new in the...
Just ordered the Bosch injectors from down in Georgia. Should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. Looks like I will have to ride the Harley for a couple days.:L Nice weather too...:cool
Saw your post on my issue. Now mine is idling low too. It might be because the battery is low from having the hood open too long. A low battery can cause some strange issues. Scanner said it was in open loop and I suspect that it has been running open all along because of the injector issue...
Today I did an Ohm check of the injectors. 6 check 12.3-12.5 ohms. #3 and #6 check 9- 9.3 ohms. From reading other posts this aint right. Cannot find this in the FSM, only an injector balance test. 1992 LT1. Anybody know where this is in the FSM? Thinking about Bosch for replacements. Any...
Yesterday I got the EZ scan 3000 and hooked it up. It says my idle is 685... It still takes about 5-10m seconds after stopping to settle down to that #. The on board Tach is not as accurate as I thought. Did notice a couple of issues: Left oxygen sensor reads 765 and the right is 413. Time...
Yes I set the IAC according to the FSM procedure. There are no codes. I am buying an OBD 1 scanner that will give me real time info on the oxygen sensors. TPS is original equiptment and checks good. It is not adjustable.
Been chasing this for weeks now... 1992 LT1 6 speed idles at 850 when warm, 1200 when cold or before coming to a complete stop. Has both cats gutted Borla exhaust, K&N air filter with the housing opened up on each side. Could these mods be causing the high idle? Been through the throttle body...
Butterfly shaft is good, no binding and no wobble. Tried the starting fluid method of looking for any vacuum leaks and all checks good. Today I am installing a new IAC. Can't figure out anything else it could be.:confused
