So is our Corvettes at Myrtle Beach we have cars from across the country come to our show. The point is GS Diva keeps moving my show posts to regional from the general sections when in fact only 1/2 of the cars that come to our show are regional. Just pointing out the obvious lack of consistency...

    weatherstrip source ?

Well gee Jeff if I am not going to keep it 30yrs (original owner had it 12) then what is the sense in paying for OEM strips.I plan on keeping it as long as it lasts and thrills me I will retire in 6yrs so I doubt I will buy another as long as the weather stripping does not leak and fits well...

    weatherstrip source ?

Yes most Corvette owners have more sense. Why would I pay 1/4 the value of my car to replace weatherstripping with some that was junk when installed(OEM) if it is so much better then why is totally destroyed after 12 years. The ones I got from weatherstripspecial are guranteed for 30yrs(...

    Buy Pirelli tires NOT

I work for GM maintaining the wheelroom. since we changed from Goodyear to Pirelli P-0 tires we have had a lot of tires come back from the DVT's with chunks of tread missing. It occurs when the drivers slam the brakes on at the end of the test. So I would not recommend buying Pirelli tires I...

    What Tires? (yes, again!)

I have the Kuhno Ectsa ASX on mine have not driven much on them but compared to the fire hawks that were on it I have improved ride and they are very quiet. I have done a little agressive cornering and they hold well. For the money if you aren't a boy racer and like good milage I rcommend them...

    Dynaspark users please chime in

I would like to hear from you guys who have Dynaspark units in your 'Vette what is your experience? Have any failed and if so why? Did you notice any improvement when installed? How many miles do you have on yours?

    Opti failing? Here is why

Well the delteq relys on the stock opti emitter which is one of the parts that gets boogered up when they fail. I know they have better charge on the coils but you can buy a better coil to help that. You still have an opti to deal with that is why I guess it will be Dynaspark for me when the...

    Tune up question!!!!!!!!

A tune up in my book( and what I am going through right now) includes plugs (wires if you need them) ,TB, IAC ,MAF cleaning. Depending on milage a radiator flush and fill and the same for the tranny(auto). Possibly a 3 stage injector clean if you have any idea that your injectors are leaky and...

    Opti upgrade questions?

Yep I know only cap and rotor will fit but I give up after reading what I posted in my " Opti failing?" post. I guess I will bite the bullet and spend the money for a dynaspark when the time comes.
