Do not know if this is the correct term
1. What is that thing called?
"rear brake cooling vent"
As for #2 I suppose one could cut the fiberglass and add it, I imagine the inner wheel well cover might also have to be modified to make it actually functional? All of this is just a guess...
I am thinking of probably an 03 red convertible to keep my 03 Z06 company, next summer, the issue is whether to locate a six speed or go with an automatic.
I know it will also have to have HUD after reading the responses I received here on the board.

I am spoiled as my Z06 has the HUD and I had never looked at a convertible, just figured with the top down, the HUD might be hard to see, so maybe GM did not put it in the convertible. But from the result posted here the convertibles do have HUD, so when I start looking it will be a must have...
I have never really noticed, and I am toying with the idea of after the start of th new year getting me a convertible/automatic as a daily driver. So, do the convertibles have the option for HUD?

I have heard that there is a problem with the axle shaft bolts not being torqued properly, (I am guessing here) 115 foot pounds but are only set at 60 foot pounds torque. Some wheels have supposedly sheared off.
Anyone else have any information about this as a possible issue?
Anyone have any pictures of these bolts and their location? Yes, I never claimed to be a mechanic. I just think some pictures or graphics would help in showing the subject of the thread.
Just my 2 cents

Thanks
Thanks Remo

This sure look like you are trying to troll, and I for one cannot see any reason for it.
This is supposedly a new product which just came out, and I am a bit interested in it and other users of this products comments who have used it. I use another brand, but may be willing to give this a...
I would much rather be spanked by the door, then have the other, which has happened to me, you go to close the door and the latch is not working, so there you are in your nice "El Cheapo Corvette," and have to open the rear deck, and yank the lanyard in order to close your door. Hopefully that...
