I'm thinking that you need to replace the sensor. I did the left front on my 02 not long ago. The 99 uses an earlier sensor so I don't have the part number. If you can get the part number from your local dealer you can go online to GMpartsdirect.com and get it for about half the dealer cost. I'm...
Jetstream is way cool :cool
Will Cooksey was at a black tie event at WKU Friday night as was I. We spent a few minutes talking while I  over his jetstream blue Z06. Very pretty indeed, maybe in a couple of years I can afford one.....until then electron will do :chuckle

kingman,
It may be that there is a problem or maybe not. Both my 02 and my wifes 05 Vue have done this from time to time. My therory is that when the tank is that low the volume of fuel is greatly affected by temperature. When your engine is running excess fuel is returned to the tank...
Alan,
I did mine last year and it's not bad really. Like has been said, spread the plastic clamp with a straight blade screwdriver. Ya really kind of lift it up so that the two serated pieces move away from one another and disengage. Taking the two bolts out on the air box and getting them...
Ron,
The plant tours are 9a, 11a, and 1:15p Monday through Friday. No sandles or flip flops. Don't be late or you will miss the tour. The museum is open 8-5 daily, give yourself plenty of time so ya don't have to hurry. Lots of other things to see in the area too. Mammoth Cave, the distillery...
Are your sensors reading for each wheel? If they are not then one may have been damaged by the the tire changer. If you are reading all four wheels then reset the DIC. The alert may have been generated by the tire pressure sensor system due to the changing of the tires. Also make certain that...
I stopped by the assembly plant yesterday. There is a Jeystream blue corvette and an XLR on display. Very nice color, not nearly as much metal flake as I anitcipated. Very striking on both the cars......
The color match is perfect, I'm really impressed. He turned mine in 4 days and he was busy with other cars. I will recommend him to anyone, he came recommended to me by the folks at the NCM.

I just had the front bumper repaired on the 02. Got backed into at the Chevy dealership here in BG. I had it done at a shop that does a lot of corvettes. Came out great!!! As for Chicago no idea. Come to Bowling Green and I'll hook ya up.

I don't know where in KY you are but there are a couple tire shops near Bowling Green that will care for your rims. I had a sensor go out on my 02 and replaced it 2 weeks ago. I bought mine online from www.gmpartsdirect.com for $42 plus $10 shipping including the new nut to install...
The best and recomended repair is with a combination patch and plug system called a "boot". The tire's speed rating is unchanged when this type of repair is made. had one done this past weekend cost $15 at the local tire shop.
Pete,
Hopefully this thread will get the attention of a moderator and get moved to the C3 section where it will get the right attention. Your vibration is very likely a U-joint or wheel bearing as Daryllawman has suggested. I chased a vibration on my 81 for a long time and turned out to be a...
