The bulbs in the C4 Bose are fairly easy to replace, and I would suspect that the C5 Bose is not that much different internally. As long as it is a warrany repair, I'd smile happily and take the brand new radio! :D If it was non-warranty I'd grab the soldering iron and take a look.

Nope: Bowling Green PD has a black & white C3 complete with light bar and markings. They use it for special events-- like leading the Corvette Homecoming parade Saturday. :cool very cool. Congrats on the beautiful ride, Chief.

I've never had a problem with the chrome plastic covers, on the C4 or the C5, and both sets were reinstalled numerous times. Not one has cracked, nor had peeling chrome, nor loosened. The secret is not to over-tighten. Use a deep well socket and turn it snug. They will split fairly easily...

:nono Get it fixed right or those slight scratches will jump out at you every time you walk around the car. A lot of shops will write in the impact panel without actually taking the rear panel off, then reduce their charge if it is OK..... and you come out ahead for your trouble. A good shop...

Looks like a 1-roll job for duct tape. :L I had the front of the acrylic top separate from the C4 targa frame on a road trip. 1/4 of a roll took care of it, and the car looked good with silver top. LOL
