    Carbon fiber dash kit?

I ordered a 'carbon fiber' dash kit from Corvette Central once upon a time. I believe it cost somewhere around $120, but don't quote me on that because it was a while back. Well, needless to say, I sent it back to them. It was hideously ugly. Obviously, they are not going to be real carbon...

    2003 Spiral Gray Metallic

I got to see a roadster done in Spiral Gray today in the show room of a local dealer. It's a REALLY nice looking color. I had just brought the wifes Monte Carlo SS in for service and had to stop to check it out. Luckily I was able to keep myself from drooling all over it (but just barely)...

    2003 Order: Getting Frustrated

I remember someone on this forum talking about how there was a problem with the G92 Peformance axle option - and that there was delay's related to that option. Maybe that's the problem?

    at the car wash........

:nono Taking a corvette - especially a convertible - through a drive through car wash is grounds for being found insane in most states. Don't do it!!!

    1990 ZR-1 For Sale - Dearborn, MI

Hey guys and girls. Les Stanford has a 1990 ZR-1 with 33,000 miles for sale at $23,996. From all my experiences with them, the "Corvette King" salesmen are big time [insert choice of expletive here] - unless you just reek of money, that is. However, if anyone is interested in dealing with...

    What's a fair price for 1989 roadster?

I'm thinking about putting my roadster up for sale. People say it's because of the baby on the way, but I insist that it's because I am going to move up to a '96 in the near future. I know the market isn't doing very well right now and so I don't know if the figure I have in my head is too...

    Losing Anti-freeze

I don't have an answer for you, but I had (have?) a simliar problem with my '89. Last year before I put the car in storage for the winter, I had a small coolant leak. I had a pressure check done and found the hoses were leaking. They were tightened up and the problem was fixed. I put the...

    Factory Cassette Deck Repair???

Does anyone out there know of a reputable company that can repair a defective factory cassette player in my '89 roadster? (The radio works fine, it's only the tape deck that's not working.) Thanks for any help you can give! -J.

WTB '95 Brite Aqua or Admrl Blu

With only 13 made in BA and 12 made in Adml. Blue, it sounds like you'll have your work cut out for you in finding one. But, it's not impossible! I'm sure everyone here will keep an eye out for a ZR-1 fitting your description. Good luck! -J.

Should I Re-Paint My Black Rose?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Just for your information...1993 was indeed the 40th anniversary of the corvette. However, only the 6,749 (I think) corvettes built with RPO Z25 (Ruby Red Anniversary Package) are actually considered 'anniversary corvettes'. Despite having other colors offered...

    C4 performance parts

I've seen the Granatelli MAF in the Corvette Central and a few other catalogs. It sells for a pretty penny. I do know that it won't fit your '88, though. I remember looking at it and finding it was made for early '90's models all the up to '96. -J.

    Zr-2

Just to let you know, the RPO's for an '89 corvette are found on the inside 'top' of the center console. Just open the console and there you go! -J.

I sure hope Chevy Learns from the T-Bird for the C6

Let's just hope that the C6 DOESN'T take certain cues from the T-Bird. My best friend works at the Ford Wixom plant which produces the Thunderbirds. They've been having so many problems with them that you wouldn't believe it. The main problems involved water leakage. (When it rained, the...

    Throttle Performance Switch

I don't have any experience with the throttle switch on the corvette (though I was thinking about getting one come Spring) but I do know that my buddy installed one for his 2000 Grand Am GT and there was a very noticable difference in acceleration. I was very impressed and hoping it had the...
