by chance did you bleed the rest of the wheels...starting with the right rear...then left..then the fronts? just a thought. Might be worth it to see if junk comes out with the fluid when you bleed them too.

on another board they mentioned a problem like yours....someone mentioned that you can get an adjustable capacitor or something from one of the major suppliers...I guess it ties in to your temp wire from the sending unit and it has a tiny screw adjustment in it...and you dial in the dash guage...

I think Slowhawk only works on C5's and 6's if your near Brockton...give Les Lucier a call, his garage leaves a lot to be desired for appearance but he is very knowledgeable on Chevrolets ..been racing Vettes since the early 60's ...you might also want to get in touch with the Diva...Elaine...
