you cant hurt the paint unless your pad has something on it...same for a microfiber towel... makes things faster...easier...better...dont be afraid to try it..well worth the money
by chance did you bleed the rest of the wheels...starting with the right rear...then left..then the fronts? just a thought. Might be worth it to see if junk comes out with the fluid when you bleed them too.

Adams, Maguires etc each have their own waffle pattern drying towels. which work good at absorbing water. Micro fibre towels are different..some are more plush than others. research and test...
