"Cleaning the throttle body is easy, but only use throttle body cleaner, not carb or f.i. cleaner. The solvents in the other cleaners are said to be corrosive. CRC makes TB cleaner. All in all, it could be a cheap fix, and you certainly don't need the dealer's hourly rate cleaning.

My opinion (duly noted) is that of course the steering engineers are aware and looked at it (not just for the c7).
If they "fixed" it for parking lot turns they would likely compromise the geometry for high speed (track) handling.
I'll take the high speed optmization. I have driven track only...
If you could expand on this a little more, I would really be interested in how you say this has worked over 3 generations of Vettes. The new model rolls out and all the older ones go up in value?

I would spend the extra on a c5. I have had both. Or walk into the dealer with 8k cash in $100 bills and be prepared to walk out if he says no.
The c5 is a lot more car especially z06. No comparison between my LT4 and my Z06.

Just use this on any fuse panel inside. Tuck wire under trim. Use a circuit that is off when key is off. Simple is good.
Run the grd to any other existing ground.
You don't need a schematic or "master tech".
It has it's own circuit and own fuse. Simple. No crosstalk. Worked on every Vette I...
I went to the catalog and clicked on 18" thru 22" which covers my vehicles and they were all ANCO beam @ $6.70 each.
While this is certainly not a bad price (must add shipping) it's about what a similar Goodyear beam blade goes for at Costco (no shipping).
Did not see anything for...
Good poll,
IMO most of us have to include price in the equation and the stickers I've seen for the 2014 seem to fall around 66K plus many dealers will gouge the first buyers to maybe 70 ish.
I predict a NICE low mile c6z will be had around 40k within 6 or so months after the 14 starts...
I don't think those big smoky burnouts were with launch control.
??????
Looked to me like all nannies OFF.
Still no axle hop.
Maybe you only get it with sticky tires (A6)
:)
When I had my 96 I used to wipe it with liquid teflon or silicone lube, cleans it & leaves a nice finish that does not atteact dust.
Some of that lube for motorcycle chains that is greasless or some of the gun lubes are good.
If I left it clean & dry it would occasionally hang up. Any kind of...
