    Steering box rebuild?

Don't do it. I rebuilt my entire power steering and looking in retrospect, I wouldn't do it again. Its now done and works great, but then that's after spending more money than if I had purchase rebuilt components in the first place. The power steering box is the hardest component to rebuild...

Aftermarket Side Mirrors--Why Are They Loose

Aren't they annoying--here is the answer I've found. The tapered screw that secures the mirror to the body is often too long. Take the screw out and grind down about an 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch and try it in the mirror again. This should make it tigh and secure.

High Speed Heater Fan Switch Not Working-Solution!!!

After replacing the multispeed fan switch on the console, replacing the blower relay and then the resistor and still no high speed fan, I found the solution that I will share with you. It was the in-line fuse that routes from the fan relay located on the passenger side fender well to the...

Strut Rod Bushing - Removal and Installation

Pressing In the Bushings Installing the new rubber bushing requires some elbow grease, WD40 and a vise. Use a socket to press them into the struts and place two pieces of metal at the other end around the strut end to allow the bushing to push all the way through.
