I think those are vacuumed controlled works with the stove pipe off the headers to warm it up i didnt see any benefits from it when i disabled mine either

I had this in last year and took them out after a while to improve the way it was wired I used a red LED trailer-mounted side running light from Wal-mart.... it was tricky to get this to work but i have to get a better way to wire it up for now I liked...

at this point I have 161,355 on the clock and no internal problems/work done.....just the starter and knock sensor were replaced along with the Fan switch.... Still runs great.....
I'm starting to see more Corvette waves when Im in the coupe as well even some "drivin up tpo give a personal head nod and goose the throttle as I do the same with a head nod and goose the throttle side by side

Well I probably won't change out the fan switch anytime soon, I just got it installed thinking that the fan would kick on once i had replaced it and it didn't do anything for it
I found a BUTTT connecter that was on the fuse-able link(all melted and charred ) i fixed that and nothing...
