The vents on the air box that open and close!

Would it be beneficial to remove those vents and have air blasting in all the time or disabling them to keep them open?

I removed mine, did not see any improvement or problems.

I think those are vacuumed controlled works with the stove pipe off the headers to warm it up i didnt see any benefits from it when i disabled mine either
