If you have all three of your cats on the car I do not see how running muffler eliminators would make it to loud. I have them on my car without cats and at idle it sounds very nice, but at WOT it is almost to loud.

If your doing the shocks I'd go with Bilsteins. ;)

First thing I would do is check the code. See what that is, and it might help you find your problem.

I agree with the above posts of rebuilding your TPI. Definitely take some time. I think Lingenfelter has some books dealing with rebuilding our TPI's. And from speaking from experience with rebuilds (mine and my brothers) do not go the cheap way with either parts OR the garage or person doing...

I did not remove the runners either when I pulled my plenum. I found the hardest thing to do was the vacuum line to the brake booster.

I put a CD player in mine, and have had minimal problems with the stock speakers. With the dash kit installed it is not an eye sore like many other cars with after market head units.

I just replaced mine in my Vette this year. I've had it 5 years this summer, and It wasn't "new" when I bought it.

TPIS for the headers. They are a little expensive, but everybody says they are the best fitting headers around and I had very minimal problems installing them on my car. As far as the rest of the exhaust there are many systems. I am sure somebody will post in that has one.

Yeah I agree I had problems with my 99 Alero twice. First time it was the motor. Second time it was the motor AND the resistor pack. Good luck. Did you look to see if there are any fuses?

To my knowledge the small aux fan does NOT turn on while the main cooling fan is on. I don't think it turns on until higher temps then 240. My 87 has never seen temps high enough for it to come on, since I have changed the temps my main cooling fan comes on. Hope this helps. My 87 FSM is...

Not to be mean but go back and double check or even triple check the wires. While doing my headers my brother and I got two wires crossed and the car ran terrible.

Just as an update I threw my ECM off mine into Craig's car and his ran fine. So I would imagine the ECM is good.

Anybody have this on there car? I ordered one and the setup looks different. The cap that I had put on the car previously had screws that actually screwed into the distributor. The MSD one they sent me has is called clamp down? and I have the screw down. I doubt there is any way to make this...

I like it for the fact of the big visual improvement over the stock filter housing.

One of my fog lights in my Alero burned out and was going to replace both of them. I want to go something brighter then just the standard bulbs. Anybody have any recommendations?
