I merged your threads so your replies would all be in the same place. It might be the heater core. I think it is in the same location you are talking about. If you turn your defroster on does the inside of the window fog up?
I am not really sure what it is. It doesn't use hardly any oil, and the oil is very clean in between oil changes. It doesn't have an oil pressure gauge so I don't know what it is at.
I think it sounds a little bit better then that. ;LOL
I've got a sound clip of mine with those but open exhaust somewhere. If you want Cajun I can try to upload it. But if your car has the catalytic converter then it will not be so loud.
Well this is a two part post. Today I go out and start my 1999 Olds Alero GLS 3.8 and have a terrible rough idle. I put it in reverse to back it up out of the driveway and it felt like it was anchored to the drive. Now what would cause this to happen? I did a tuneup when I bought it roughly...
Bottom line is nobody can tell you what car to get everybody has reasons why they want the model they have. The best advice is to get out and drive those models (if you already haven't). Then decide from there. I can tell you the difference between my brothers car and my car and they are only...

If no other fuses are blowing then it is probably something to do with the radio installation setup. In my old Escort after I installed an aftermarket CD player it shorted out and (I just tapped the wires together) it took out all of my dash lights and I had to drive home from my buddies house...
When you remove the valve covers you might have to grind down the drip tabs on the inside of the valve covers. I had to on mine when I did rolling rockers.
I have done wires on my car with both sets (pre made and non). For mine it seemed the pre made ones the long one was WAY to long, and the short one was barely long enough to make it. Now the ones I put the end on went much better I could route all of them away from the headers and out of the way.
1999 Alero GLS 3.4, a little over 107,000 miles. I noticed tonight while waiting at Mcdonalds next to the building I could hear a ticking. I put it in neutral took it to about 1500 RPMs and it got louder. When I got home I checked the oil, and to my suprise it was full to the mark and...
