Turbocat's the only other TT owner I have ever met and the only other TT I have seen. Even with the extensive mods he has made I got goosebumps when he started it up 'cause the sound was still that good deep bark like mine. Happy birthday...:beer

I always thought the turbos were different from side to side? These look identical. Anyone know for sure?

I got a quote from them at $650/year. That's about what I pay now!

To top it all off it sure looks like the wheels are mounted backwards...

I "hear" a slight shudder/rattle upon slow takeoff but don't feel anything. The video that came with the car talks about that. Try shutting off the car without the clutch being out. You shouldn't hear the death rattle with the clutch in...

Did you look at the pics of the engine on the '87? WTH is that on the upper radiator hose? I know they used truck engines on the very early TTs, I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I read somewhere that Callaway couldn't get his car certified or something for the speed crown in '87, hence it went to the Buick. Watching one of those cars "climb the ladder" as they power up in the rear is pretty dang cool.

I got some stainless steel letters from SS Inserts and will probably try and get them powder coated glossy black. I'm tempted to see what spray paint and spray clear coat would do but I'll wait and see what it takes to get them professionaly done. I sure like the way black chrome looks...

Make sure he waits for the intercooled Magnusson SC. I know someone with an '02 Z06 and he can't run it at the track cause the temps get too high. Possibility of detonation and ruining the engine.

I can't find high quality black lettering for the C5 corvette rear. I am talking about stainless steel letters that are like black chrome, gunmetal blue or similar, not carbon fiber black and not vinyl or plastic letters. Does anyone know if these are made by anyone? I am thinking about buying...

Can't be done. The only direction we can go is up or into the backyard. Into the back would make the 3rd bay just wide enough to get a car in...without being able to open any doors. The only logical way is up with a lift and that is still an option. Another option is just renting a shed for the...
