If it wasn't filled properly, it could have finally pushed through a vapor pocket. Also, my car has overflowed the lower reservoir several times while parked nose down on an incline.

I have a very similar LT4 with almost 50k miles in great shape. I'm thinking 17,000 would be good for a private sale. Nice choice on the C5. I will also be looking for your results. I'm sure you'll like it! :cool

Problem Solved!
Thank you all for your inputs. I took a list of things to check to the tire shop and they used sticky back weights and I drove down the road that has always given me the worst problems and it was PERFECT through all speeds up to 80 mph!!
Excellent feedback. Cost me only $30...
Make sure the case stays tight (wrap a rubber band around it) and then re-program and try it. Once the battery has lost contact, the unit behaves unpredictably.
I had the same types of problems and it was due to bad battery contact because the case would not shut tightly. If it lost contact one time, it acted squirrely until the case was tight and PKE was reset. Mine is superglued shut now. I can break the glue when the battery dies.

This is on a '96. When I fill the lower reservoir to the proper Cold level and park it on a slight incline nose down after the engine has been hot, it leaks about 1/2 to a full gallon of coolant out of the reservoir. It fills it up and then overflows after the engine is turned off.

Thanks Markone.
This has happened in my minivan twice. The first time was tire separation and the second was balancing. Drove great before, in-between and since those two incidents. I'll try the balancing first. Now I got to find someone who will do it right.
Anyone know anyone around...
The front tires don't have a rotation direction (the new F1's on the back do) and it shook some before the swap. It's definitely something in the front end or the front tires.

Bent rim maybe....?
I spun the wheels while I had the front end up and they look perfect (at low speed). I also noticed both had tire weights and I could see they were moved (makes since because I had the tires swapped). The rims look really good, hardly any tool marks and no dents. I also...
Did you replace all four tires?
I changed the rear tires only. It was happening before changing rear tires, but got better after re-alignment with the old tires. Now that I think about it, it got bad again before I changed the rear tires.
It starts at 50MPH and gets really bad at 60-65 and...
This '96 LT4 had a little steering wheel shake since I got it that was worse on certain roads and it pulled to the right. I had it aligned and rotated the tires on the front and it stopped pulling and the shake was almost gone. Just put new tires on the back because they were worn and I was...
I put the Goodyear F1 GS D3 on my rear wheels two weeks ago. Huge improvement over the GS-C's and they look awesome too. After my research, I would have gone with either the Firestone Firehawk SZ50's or Goodyear F1 GS D3. www.tirerack.com has good ratings (as mentioned above).

I went to a local shop I thought I trusted and asked them to be very careful. My wheels are in good shape with just a few tool marks on the edges of the rims. They ignored my request and now I have double the tool marks.
Very dissappointing. Not sure what to do now. I was planning to buy my...
I had little pieces of bugs and stuff on my screen. Enough to make me want to keep the screen in. I found the clamp that connects the corrugated air duct to the air inlet box was not surrounding the duct underneath so there was a small gap there. I by-passed the TB. I wouldn't be able to...
1. Make sure you have a good battery and the case is shut tight. The latch often breaks and you have to re-program when it loses battery contact.
2. Put the ignition key in the ignition, but don't turn it on.
3. press DOOR on the transmitter until the door locks cycle (about 2 seconds)
