    They are very trick,wish they had them back years ago,i use to use the jacobs ceramic boots but those look way better.

    i decided to start detailing a few things this week,i did the intake in silver frost pearl,sanded the grain out of it first with 180 dry then wetsanded it with 600 then primed and painted.i think im gone to do a few other items like dipstick and things the same color.I put the fuel rail covers...

    you should use a 3/8 feed line and 5/16 minimum return line.

    LS1 is running

    Well i took it outside yesterday just out front and it idles way to smooth for me,gone to be doing a bigger cam swap .I guess i was so used to the zz4 cam in the tuned port motor and they torquey feeling of the tpi these ls1's feel way different. http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/patsvette/ls1sig.jpg

    my custom air filter setup i made,gone to seal it to the hood and use the cowl induction for air.

    i used my hooker sidepipes,and cut off the flanges and bought ls1 header flanges from the gm dealer and welded them on,it wasnt easy but i got it to work,2 of the pipes line up and 2 dont so i had to move 2 of them over then reweld them up.But now i have sidepipes on a ls1.

    i have 5 inch autometer tach and speedo in the car,i had them change the tach output in the pcm to work with the autometers.

    Well she finally runs,still have some more things to finish up,p/s pump and tensioner,hook up my coild air tube and then ill be ready to take it for a spin,but she fired right up no hesitation.It really sounds good with the hooker sidepipes i wasnt sure how she would sound but i like it.Feels...

    \ Mine?there L-88 headlight buckets and covers,you can buy them from guldstrand motorsports,not cheap but look great,i still have to paint the covers blue still just primered for now.I made the aluminum buckets and bought the covers from them for $311 shipped.

    Ill be taking plenty of pics,have done a ton of researching for several months before even starting it,now im ready to drop it in.Im even using my sidepipes on it i bought ls1 flanges to weld to my headers.

    he has slp runners on it ,upper looks stock not sure lower intake. im actually swapping from tpi to a lsx based motor over the winter,i really like the tpi,but i need a change.

    I used a factory 87 trans am computer and wiring harness it worked out perfect ,mounted the computer behind my passenger side dash and had a prom programmed for my setup that i am running.87 t/a's didnt have vats either.so one less thing that i had to worry about.I mounted a separate fuse block...
