Entering my crossfire renegade equipped corvette in my first car show.

What are my chances of bringing home a trophy? I do have a renegade installed probably be the only one there with it and I do have the 30th badges on it and a killer flame painted air box under the hood. What do you think first place?:happyanim:

    How is the renegade running?

    Renegade Intake

My timing and fuel pressure was set at the stock specifications. My fuel pressure wasn't adjustable before the renegade was installed. I didn't see the point to remove the TB's and make them adjustable and then remove them again and reinstall the TB's on the renegade. I purchased a set of DCS...

    Renegade Intake

When you pull an intake off your timing will be way off from before. Timing has to be reset because you have moved the distributor from its original position. Just a little intake 101 for you.:beer

    Renegade Intake

I have the stock heads, when I installed the renegade it was sluggish at first, but once I corrected the timing and bumped the fuel pressure it went pretty good. From my experience timing of the engine makes a huge difference. I just slapped the intake on and bolted down the TB's and it ran...

    Renegade Intake

I have a renegade and it improved the performance of my crossfire. It is fairly easy to install, I recommend you buy a distributor wrench or similar to remove and install the distributor. You will have similar performance numbers as a TPI vette low 14's instead of the low 15's that a stock...

The look on the guys face was priceless

Should have just put a new engine in, probably cheaper than all this rebuild stuff.

    sub boxes

    Me know understand?
  17. nelson84

    sub boxes

My sub box has two 10" subs and I made it small enough so the targa top will still lock into place above the sub box. It is in an 84 vette and it sounds really good.

    renegade = neck snapping performance

Question: anybody know cheap painters in missouri

I had mine painted at maaco for $899, I splurged for the $899 package instead of going for the usual $399, hey its a vette why not. Or you can step up to the $1299 paint job but that is reserved for Italian supercars.
