Mirrors
Chrome was standard and I think passenger side was optional - I don't believe the plastic color-keyed mirrors surfaced until `78.

I had a feeling I should't have gone that route - - sorry.
My point was, we can all ASK whatever we choose . . . whether we get it or not is dependent upon another person to whom your passion has the same high value.
And no, I wasn't likening your car to the Pace Cars - - many of those folks...
I think we all would like to think that our cars are uniquely valuable, but the fact is that few of the C-3's are worth appreciably more than Kelly book regardless of how well maintained. Additionally, low mileage is sometimes a two-edged sword viewed by some as requiring new seals, updating...
Ironic Waterboy . . Drew Carey's theme song just came on . . .
I'm no NCRS expert, but just on recollection, I'm thinking the tube was natural pot metal and the dipstick was stainless . . . we only had L-48's on our 4 C-3's . .I think the 78 Silver Anniv tube was that funky blue to match the...
Chuck:
Thanks for the info - -that car is on a couple other Corvette Sale websites - - and the seller's description is absolutely deceptive-- since when is a rusty frame considered "solid" ? If anyone sees it again, report it to E-Bay . . .there are already enough scammers. At a recent law...
I seem to recall it to be F-70-14 . . . Goodyear Polyglass . . my 73 came with GR-7015 Firestone Steel Radial 500's and I believe that was the first time Corvette came standard with radials.

Check with "Robin7TFour" - he's extremely talented and did an awesome job with the same brand of side pipes on his blue 74 coupe.. . or take a quick trip to Orlando and prepare to be "wow-ed" ! I'm certain he'd be happy to share his exeprience.

Certainly demonstrates what a great market effort can do ! For the difference in cost compared to a Fram or AC Delco, users should be singing the praises of K&N with enthusiasm rather that the mixed bag seen here.
I think I'll stick with the OEM type and replace it regularly . . it's probably a...
Bones--
I looked at those along with other after market designs and went with the 79/82 C-3 factory seats - - in my opinion, better lateral support and still all `Vette. The bolt holes don't match up exactly on the rear seat bolts but are easily drilled. They do sit slightly higher however than...
I recall them to be the Astro top-- aftermarket in the mid/late 70's. There were one piece and two-piece versions that seemed to fade from preference when the mirrored factory tops came out on the Anniversary/Pacers in 78. You can still find them on E-Bay and I recall an earlier posting of a...
