Great pics. I have always wanted to use the Hurst shifter with the "original" appearing stick. I compared mine (1960 with original shifter) to my freinds 59 with the same set-up you have. On his 59, the stick is noticably taller and the stock shift boot doesn't fit correctly because of the bolts...

You're at a big disadvantage being in Hawaii. If you were on the mainland it would be much easier. When I bought mine I was only willing to pay $500 over dealer invoice. I had several dealers tell me there was no way I could ever get one for that. However I also found a few that said no problem...
