Excellent transition for Corvette. The technology is amazing and clearly will take the corvette to an even higher level of world class sports car domination.
I'm not a big fan of runflat tires..
I've been running my z06 with two sets of goodyears that came standard with the car..
Then a set of michelin pilot sports..
and now the Toyo proxi's..which delivered in at 762 dollars...
I have to say the Toyos are an excellent tire.
I'd buy...
I remember that article too.. Danna owns a lamboghini and surprisingly she raved about it in the comparision test..
She panned the others with some inane fault... ..
I didn't pay much attention.
Do you have a piece that goes ahead of the armrest console? Its the large part with the shifter popping out.. and heading up the radio/heating controls? (I don't know what its called)
thats the part I would like to get in carbon fiber "look"
Thanks in advance for your response.

the 08 is an amazing vehicle. Don't let this post keep anyone from buying one.
That said the future of the corvette has a lot of life left in it.
475hp for the base corvette is not too hard to imagine and it seems to be sooner rather than later.

Some guys find relief by cleaning the fluid out of the master with a large syringe and replacing. Recover the clutch master and
Then pump the pedal 20 times (all with the car not running at anytime) ..
Then open the master and remove fluid and then replace.
Be careful as the fluid is...
I think its a good way to go. Usually about 8 grand installed at ECS creme ridge NJ or the vette doctors out in amityville long island NY.
Its a nice package as long as you don't mind the bulging hood.
Thats the one I would do if I were to mod again.
Is got a good reliability record and...
my votes on vacuum leak. Also perform normal maintaince like change the pcv valve if your year has one.
Check your spark plug wires with double clicks on the coils. Make sure the bottom is on tight.
Don't wash the engine compartment... Wipe it down in the future.
I don't like the idea of...
The vette is more often than not given the thumbs up by men and kids...Young teenage or mid twenties girls..
The girls in their mid to late twenties, and thirties really dig Jag U ARS!
Both great cars ...The z06 will smoke the jag in performance but in elegance? The Jag smokes the vette...
Thats some good informaiton. I'm going to have to try the new Z51 A6 as I hear its got the 2.73 rear instead of the 2.56 so thats got to be a nice jump on the new Automatic six speed.
I've had a 99C5 A4 and it was a great drag racer. I now have the M12 with 3.73's in my Z06 and its a blast...
Jags are sexy as hell but not runners like the vette.
Z06 's crush the Jag every time. except when it comes to picking up girls..
Girls love Jag - U -ARS...
I'd recommend going over to www.corvettemechanic.com and ask those techs.
The guys are straight shooters and probably have heard of your question before.
Sound is very hard to decifer over the internet so be aware it'll take time to really understand if its normal or not..
One idea is to...
btw in featured articles over the years the Dual clutch sequential transmission is a few hundred dollars more to produce and install than a standard transmission.
What the manufacturers decide to charge is their own business.
VW and Audi charge about 1200 dollars over the standard manual...
There is a chance I might throw back a brew, laugh and agree with you except GM can't get the dam clutch pedal to work on these cars (about 10%) as the miles pile on..
No fun driving a kick @ss serious sports car like the corvette when the clutch pedal lays on the floor at 6000 rpm in 3 rd...
