I have a complete aluminum case rear available with fiber glass spring, bushings, strut rods, yokes, and batwing. Ready to go. A very low mileage crash.
Im not sure this statement is correct. Two reasons,
#1 it`s hearsay....;LOL
#2, The balancer may hit the front cross member because a BB is slightly longer than a SB. And the BB frames DO have a special indentation to accomodate this issue. I could possibly see that it would be a no issue...
These mail order places are not exactly the best source for some parts. Local parts stores are probably cheaper and a faster turn around because of there inventory is probably large enough to handle most sales, AND normally no freight costs. HUGH savings there.....;LOL...:upthumbs
A good choice would probably be the GM factory 151 camshaft with a set of new springs and lifters. I put one in my 84 4+3 and it was like night and day because it finally feels like a Vette rather than a dog, :L
Just look at all the factory L88`s owners that cancled the engine but not until the hood was installed. Or was it that they over estimated the orders and had to use them up. :L
No Tom, heres both cars. But they were inspired by the Route 66 program when they put the Daytons on theirs. A fraturnity brother identified them as Daytons from his hometown of Xenia Ohio. His name was Dean Chenoworth, killed at Lake Taho in Bernie Littles "Miss Budweiser" Do you remember him...
The seat leather is sold. The full set of C4 red carpet set is still available at $425.00. FOB
Canceled the 425.00 price on the 84/85 red carpet set to $350.00
Heres Walker Dynomax on my 67 L78 Camaro as there are no direct fit mufflers for the pony cars.
I have this all screwed up but you can get the general idea. What you hear is horsepower not objectional noise. :upthumbs
Hello Tom,
Happy New Year,
I was trying to remember if there were any GTO`s besides your picture at the 63 Nationals. Delorian could have made the 64`s available to the Pontiac teams. I recall Mickie Thompson was pretty tight with Pontiac around the same time as he had several different...
Whatever color you decide it was only a 30% chance that it was two tone Vette. In other words 70% of the early Vettes were of a solid color. Two tones were not popular. Take a look at the "Route 66" TV show web page. All the Vettes over the 4 year course of the show were one color not two. :beer
Well all the choices are above and I have sold them all. If you want quiet and power your best bet is Walker direct fit. They actually had a lifetime warrantee with them. The next choice is also by Walker sold under the Dynomax brand. These are the best of the universal mufflers for both sound...
Low voltage overheats the armature and they die from inside. Caused by a hard starting engine from continuous prolonged cranking, or, the charging system is not in good condition necessary to keep the battery at a high charge. :upthumbs
I see a gentleman that drives a sharp 58 to several outings a week and if he`s a pound, he is at least 290. And at approximately 6'1' height he does not appear to have any trouble driving the Vette. However, me at 6'1' and 215 lbs fit better with the hard top than with the soft top. My head...
I drive them quite infrequently now days, In fact for several years now. New, I beat the hell out of them. I thought thats what they were for, to pound on and go fast. The only thing around that gave a good Vette a hard time or even a bad time was a 427 Cobra. Fortunately there wasn`t too many...
1986 coupe, new still in the coxes is a red leather interior, seat foam, leather seats and carpets for sale. 25% off on the whole package amounting to $1137.00 plus shipping.
These parts were to be in my wife's 86. Daughter number 2 crashed it at 115 MPH and walked away. Junked a perfectly...
